Kamiah Middle School is housed in a new building on the campus of the Kamiah School District. Situated on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation, the school is surrounded by mountains and edged by the Clearwater River, in the heart of beautiful Idaho. Moreover, Kamiah is an important stop on the Lewis and Clark Trail: it was here that the Nee-Me-Poo (the modern Nez Perce) saved the explorers from starvation, assuring the success of their expedition.
The modern city of Kamiah offers a high quality of living: everyone is a friend, and all are welcome. Local businesses provide the necessities and a little bit more: hand-made items, home-baked goods, and native crafts. The community offers great support for the schools, not just in its academic programs but also for a variety of extracurricular activities. Kamiah is an inspiring place to live, and Kamiah Middle School offers a quality educational experience!
KMS is located at the corner of 12th Street and Highway 64, adjacent to the District Office. The school provides a safe environment where students and staff are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. Students receive support from parents and staff as they are challenged to explore, create, and learn. Technology is a key aspect of our students’ education, and the school offers up-to-date labs and libraries. Our goal is to help students strive for academic excellence and to create a lifelong love of learning.

Kamiah Kubs are #1, in the classroom and on the field!
